Humidity & A/C Assessments
We measure indoor humidity room by room and tell you whether your cooling system is feeding mold growth.
Learn more →Even newer Estero homes get mold — from A/C humidity issues, construction moisture, and hidden plumbing leaks. Free inspections, honest answers.
Estero's master-planned communities are some of the newest in Southwest Florida — but new doesn't mean mold-proof. We regularly remediate mold in Estero homes less than ten years old. The culprits are different from older housing stock: construction moisture sealed inside walls during rapid building, oversized A/C systems that cool without dehumidifying, and the pinhole plumbing leaks that plague even new copper and PEX lines.
The other Estero pattern: humidity. Many newer homes run their A/C hard but still sit above 60% indoor relative humidity — especially in two-story plans where the upstairs system can't keep up. At those levels, mold grows on dust, drywall, and closet contents with no leak required at all.

Learn more →Yes — newer doesn't mean immune. We regularly find mold in Estero's newer developments from construction moisture trapped during building, A/C systems that are oversized or poorly balanced (causing excess humidity), and minor plumbing leaks inside walls. If your newer home smells musty, get it checked.
Yes — we serve all of Estero, including the communities along Estero Parkway, Corkscrew Road, Three Oaks Parkway, and US-41. Gated community access is no problem.
It's one of the biggest mold risks in Estero's newer homes. An oversized or malfunctioning A/C cools the air without removing enough humidity, leaving indoor relative humidity above 60% — prime mold conditions. We measure humidity during every inspection and can tell you whether your system is part of the problem.
New home or old, musty smell or visible spots — we'll find the truth.
